Survey and Conservation Project of Isan Scripture Wrapping, Identity and Cultural Dissemination

Between 4 Oct. 20 – 15 Aug. 21. Research Institute of Northeastern Art and Culture, Local arts and culture are preserved. By operating a project to explore and preserve the scripture wrapped cloth, Isan identity and cultural dissemination. The objectives of the operation are as follows: 1. To survey the cloth wrapped in palm leaf scriptures in the northeastern region, classify and analyze various elements. 2. To select ancient and valuable cloths. To preserve according to academic principles. 3. To create a body of knowledge and disseminate it in various forms. Visited the area to explore and repairing the damaged scroll wrapper and conveying conservation methods to people in the community and those who are interested
