Survey project, digital copy and overseeing ancient documents, pharmacopoeia and Thai traditional medicine texts of Northeastern
On March 4-5, 2021, the ancient document conservation event Research Institute of Northeastern Art and Culture Mahasarakham University Has visited the area to explore ancient documents related to pharmaceutical texts Under the project “Explore, make a digital copy and oversee ancient documents, medicinal texts and Thai traditional medicine texts” to bring the wisdom in palm leaf documents to be transformed into a body of knowledge for further dissemination and further development. Wat Pho Si Nong Thum, Ban Nong Thum, Nong Thum Subdistrict, Wapi Pathum District Maha Sarakham Province. Wat Amphawan, Ngua Ba Subdistrict, Wapi Pathum District Maha Sarakham Province. In visiting the area, the working group surveyed the pharmacopoeia documents as well as various ancient documents. Asked for permission to bring those documents to be photographed digitally and to register documents. In order to take the data from the survey recorded into the GIS system to be stored as evidence of the ancient document further.
